What Makes Us Different
Our straight-through design as coupled into a specific, proprietary exhaust noise cancellation technology allows us to tune out the undesirable low frequencies that cause annoying drone, while reducing back pressure. A reduction in back pressure allows the engine to produce more horsepower and torque.
Each Kinetic Exhaust system is developed by using patented, acoustic and performance technologies to eliminate low frequency DRONE, while minimizing backpressure. Sound waves are reflected within the muffler case, producing a cancellation wave effect, with no flow restriction and without electronic devices. This design features a pipe running straight through the muffler, incorporating a full 360-degree air gap and allowing sound pressure waves to escape. The waves are channeled and then returned to the gap 180-degrees out-of-phase, cancelling specific sound frequencies. All that remains is the clean, crisp sound of performance. Most competitors use perforated tubes with simple packing material to achieve the desired sounds. Others use baffles sacrificing all of the performance benefits of a properly designed straight-through system.
